Bridal Veils
When selecting a wedding veil, you need to choose the length, hem style, decorations, and number of layers. With an embellished gown, choose a simple wedding veil and a sheerer fabric so you will see the beautiful back of your wedding dress. With a simpler gown, choose an elaborate bridal veil to add to your outfit. Most bridal veils come with a bridal comb attached.
It is important to know that bridal veils come in varying lengths:
- Shoulder length - 18-20"
- Elbow length - 22-32"
- Fingertip length - 38-42"
- Waltz length - 65-81"
- Chapel length - 75-92"
- Cathedral length - 108"
- Regal length - 120"
Note that these lengths vary slightly as the height and proportions of each bride are different.
There are many hem styles on bridal veils, including satin, embroidered, scalloped, or even a border of pearls or rhinestones. Orange Blossom Tiaras alone offers 20 different options.
Some wedding veils also come decorated, with rhinestones or crystals scattered throughout the veil. You may also be able to approach a tailor to add this after you buy a veil.
