St. Jude Children's Hospital
The St. Jude Children's Hospital is a worthy charity that fights against childhood cancer. While we could sit here and praise their determination and dedication to the cause, ultimately their importance can be summed up by a single fact: "Since its inception, St. Jude has developed protocols that have brought survival rates for childhood cancers from less than 20 percent to better than 70 percent overall."
St. Jude provides an alternative to traditional wedding favors. If you are looking for a unique and laudable solution to your wedding favors dilemma, you can donate the amount of money you would normally spend on wedding favors to St. Jude in honor of your guests. St. Jude also offers a program where couples can ask their guests to forgo a standard wedding gift and instead make a donation to St. Jude. They will even provide personalized cards to send out with your invitations.
